an year goes by..
..SIGH,(almost an year).. here i approach the end of my first year in uni.. one heck of a period. I had an awesome awesome time, (BK take note, a double awesome) trust me.. i always wanted my uni life to be of kinds, where i can grow old and tell my kids what a great place college is.. and judging by the two semesters that went by.. this is good going.. touchwood
I made a lot of good friends, some really great friends, and consolidated some old frenships.. though sadly, a few ppl lost touch, and i still wonder why.
lemme first take this place to thank a few ppl..
Boon Keng-
Boonie is the bestestestestest. He has been such a good friend this past year, someone i really enjoy being with. His humor (the Riders of Rohan), his antics including his infamous racist behaviour, his hospitality, the fact that he is so unpredictable is so much fun! a really nice person with no airs whatsoever, though there is a little attitude, lol.he complains i am always too busy, but whatever memories we have, am always gonna cherish them, now that the ass is off to SMU, am sure will see much much less of him. will miss him..But dude, thanx for all the times u drove me around ur country to eat at the awesome places, or nights at ur place doing absolutely nothing. or trying to study all around the college, talking about random shit! or ur blog, which is my most frequented webpage, owing to ur constant upadtes, keep it up! Stay the same always, fun, warm, complicated, moody, just so much adore u that way.. i just hope am as good a host when u come my place.. lets see! THANKS a TONNE
Sarah-
silly sarah has been there with me/for me all year around, she had to suffer all my ideosyncrasies, (even i had to bear her 100 questions a day ;P, spanning over various aspects of LIFE) but honestly, rarely u find a girl like this one, she is so warm, so originally cute, so unique, and so funny! she gives her 99% in frenship, and expects 101! lol. see, am always pulling her leg one.. like now.. she hates me for this, but i soo totally derive pleasure from it. all this year, we have studied together, gone on random shopping trips, or eating out, or clubbing, did overnite presentations, waved at cars on the road from the overhead bridge, sat along takashimaya making fun of ppl passing by and giving random comments about couples while eating our favourite dairy queen, or seen movies! I just hope she keeps in touch next year when she goes school of mpe. Thanks a lot for this wonderful time, u were a most integral part of this year!
Lionel-
i can never understand lionel, if anyone does, please, please enlighten me. he comes off as this normal boy next door usually, but when he wants to be, he gets all suave and sophisticated, especially when it comes to blogging, it goes over my head!! he can even take an Indian avataar, or be a total singaporean ah beng, He is such a versatile person, extremely outgoing, so much fun, warm, friendly, he understands everything he discerns, he makes logical statements which always sound politically correct somehow. all i know is, every class must have a Lionel Ang. with his Indian accent, his eccentricities, his jokes, his anecdotes, he never fails to lighetn ur mood. also someone u can talk to about anything. seriously, u are deprived, if there isnt a lionel in ur life.. i dun even have to thank him, for being such a good friend. its all understood! but for formality sake, thanks soo much man, owe u so much.. keep up the mystery about u. enjoy it!
Xiao Rong-
Mummy rong is so mummy. she hates all the bad things, she hates clubbing, swearing, or anything that has a tinch of 'unethical/immoral' in it. still we get along, haha, that tells a lot about me, gosh. but anyways, xiao rong is soo sweet! she can be awfully cute at times, calling me son, and expecting me to be at her service 24X7, threatening me to clean my room, be nice, and so on. She actually cares so much about ppl around her, and thats something rare in ppl around us. She makes those wonderful expressions which make u smile, she complains, forgets, backs out of certain outings, haha, must say, she has a tremendous enviable will power, very strong principles. She usually never goes out with us :( but am surely gonna change that sooner or later, how many of us wanna see a sporty xiao rong? hehe.. well actually, think about it, she wudnt be the xiao rong she is! we still pray!!
really, thanks to everyone who made this a memorable year at NTU. i appreciate all of u. I didnt mention some ppl here, but they anyways dun read my blog! haha.. so am sorry! and for those few who are up here, dun think of urselves are the only ones! lol..
its 11 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes before i land on my soil. am so eagerly waiting for the moment. going back home!!!!!!! will definitely miss the ppl here, but its been 9 months i've been home, thats a long time, miss it terribly. u can tell by my attitude! but will be back in 3 months! to another year at this place. so much more to do, learn, so much more to complain about, to crib.. hehe.. will try blog when am home. though cant promise, i will be really busy, and otherwise awfully lazy!
looking forward to spending some time with u before i go.. lets cheers to some karaoking on 4th. anyone up for clubbing this weekend? anyone? for me? please! hee.
