the flashback - part 2

Salwan Public School, for a major part of my life, the world revolved around this place.. most of my memories are somehow related to this place.. majority of my school frenz hate the place, they're kinda grateful to be outta there.. i beg to differ.. i loved my school.. for as long as i can remember.. going to school was always a yes yes.. except for the winters when all u wanted to do was sleep as much as possible in the blanket.. and never get ur ass off the warm cozy bed.. anyways.. its still great to visit school anytime.. meet the teachers.. the ones i buttered, bitched about, made fun of, or sometimes respected.. the last time i went back india after JC2, my school was celebrating its annual day in december end, golden jubilee.. and the excited me decided to join in.. i volunteered to help around for a week.. helping them in random stuff, or printing errands.. i wondered later what made me go back for this.. was it that i was completely bored? may be.. but most of all, i love that place.. just love it..
i came across all kinds of ppl at that place.. eccentric old teachers, funny friends, nerdy friends, smart friends, hot chicks, and my best friends.. haha.. i came to the main branch of my school in class 5. took me some time to settle in the big place.. had some major initial crushes on my teachers.. so beautiful i thought.. carry themselves so gracefully... none of myteachers had any complaints about me ever!teachers just loved me... they loved pulling my cheeks, it was bloody embarrassing.. but anyway.. making friends was never a problem.. many of them are still in touch, while many are closer than ever.. i had my best times with these guys.. there is so much that happened in school.. the times when me and pam used to sit right in front and laugh at our teachers pronouncing wrong english.. when we used to eat hiding behind the desk, the times when we used to go on official bunking.. take some duty from a random teacher, and miss the rest of the classes pretending to be working.. the times there were tutors who favoured us to the extent that i myself felt guilty.. the cheating during exams! haha.. can i ever forget those days, when prateek jumped up the desk between the exam shoutin, " rat!!rat!!" and we hurriedly exchanged sheets while the teacher was trying to calm us down.. all this in class 7! or the matchmaking, and teasing everyone with any random person he/she were seen with.. which i guess is still on.. the million quizzes i took part in, and lost most of them.. =)
there were strict yet nice teachers like Bala Subramanium (all time favourite), or those how thought they were underemployed, like Sudha Goyal, but she treated us at macs for good results, god bless her!, there were motherly ones like Vandana Arora or Ruby Chugh, who were extra caring ,or the slutty ones like KG, the extremely smart and aware ones like Mukul Jha, then there were friendly ones like Shubha Gill, there were hot ones too.. lol.. the arrogant old ones were the least favourite.. ppl like nandwani, seth, chanana, or anand.. they all made my life anyways so memorable, with good or bad moments..
there were the daily bus rides to school.. where the bus was late almost every other day.. haha.. the best times were while comiing back.. the whole gang of me, Richa, Prateek, Roma, Sachin, Nidhi and the juniors.. how we used to sit on the stairs of the back door, or tease the conductor, or play millions of games, or pranks.. hide bags, put random stuff like lip creams on ppl's hair. or throw water, shout to other cars, or god knows what.. celebrated holi every year in the bus!
there were outings after every exam.. started with karol bagh, went on to my place, Rajouri Graden market, south ex, def. col, ansal plaza.. roaming outside the school in school uniform was great fun.. the maroon blazer, the tie, the gray pants. and the white shirt.. sigh, i miss school U!!

there were fists fights, there were heated arguments, there was damaging school property, there was the great canteen with awesome bread rolls, sandwiches, paneer kulchas, and the daily specials, there were tough exams with LOTS of cheating, there was bitching about teachers, there was catching defaulters with long hair, or the wrong shoes, there were girls whose skirts shrinked as the classes went up, there were alleged affairs, love letters, ppl caught smoking, ppl making out, ppl caught bursting crackers in school toilets, there were irritating lab assistants, there was the feeling of being a prefect and showing off, there were dramas, skits, debates and declamations, there were annual picnics to fun'n' food village, there was authority as a class captain, there were boring speeches by principal, there was forcing out birthday treats from anyone u know, there was bullying, there was being bullied, there were zillions of non veg jokes, there was sex talk, there were conti bashes, there were farewells or teachers' days, there were so many crushes, there was a basketball mania, there were proposals and rejections, there were nicknames for every frigging teacher on the campus, there was learning of new swear words, there was learning of so many things, then there was Salwan Public School..
